Last May 25, 2013, my team, P4 Human Resource Consultancy, had our time to facilitate a team building program sponsored by Rev. Fr. Ariel Cardino, parish priest of San Isidro Labrador Kabulusan, Pakil, Laguna. It was a one day session, full of games, group dynamics, some discussions and a whole lot of fun.
My team had to say that this group had their greatest potential. Most of them are on time, coming an hour before the said call time. We had fun seeing them make their way through progress of camaraderie and group work. Though some may be shy towards sharing their thoughts, we can say that they have hidden talents that needs boosting! It was a great experience to have seen such people, to know that at some point, for 23 years, they have hidden those skills which their parish might need. And at last! My team had truly motivated them, although this is just the start!
Kudos to my team, Sheena, Ryan and Jelai. And my special thanks to Fr. Ariel, who had surely given us the opportunity to have the team building their parish.
To the Parish Pastoral Council and BEC Leaders of San Isidro Labrador Kabulusan and their respective barangays, just as I have said in the processing session of your activity, ZOOM, “You ALL have the potential!, The potential to make known your parish not only in the Diocese of San Pablo, but all over the country as well. You ALL can do this!”
Until next time… see you all in the success line!

Tuesday… after a grueling walk at Greenhills because I had to accompany one of my bestfriends to check a Samsung Note, we decided to go to this beer joint in Shang where you can find the best beer in town, all the way from Germany, which is Paulaner!
Had to admit, I do loved the sauerkraut and the sausages, not to mention the Best of Brotzeit appetizer/main course that has bacon, coldcuts and cheese with vegetables and their oh-so yummy chicken salad. As far as I can tell, this has been the best time of my day.
The ambiance was cool, so cool that you can also find corporate looking guys laughing over some corporate stories, maybe it was their after-work beer thing. Found some girlfriends as well, had to say they were classy, some were not. But what I enjoyed the most is those two glasses of 0.3ml Paulaner over chitchats with two of my bestfriends, arguing over a word that they cannot guess in that iPhone’s app, 4 pics and a word.
They had me at their beer and cold cuts. I will come back for more… soon!
At Uncle Cheffy last night, my friend and I, after that sweaty dance training we had, talked about a lot of things. Over this yummy ribs with baby potatoes and lettuce, I had a thought that “Catholic/Conscience Vote” had been popularized nowadays because of that implementation of RH bill, which had almost made many Catholics taken aback. The PPCRV was been talking about this and since the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting is neutral, I would say some lay and clergy should not include them in this. Although, this is just a thought. It is through the discretion of every lay member of lay groups that they would promote Catholic Vote. I, myself, promote Conscience Vote and I believe in the power of changing leaders to change the system.
As I was chewing this yummy ribs, it gave me another realization, that it is not too late to change leaders, however late it was for our “immoral” laws being implemented. I guess it is just a matter of time before we all realize that no matter how good the law is, if the leaders are not good, then it will have a downright, downfall.
I had to put down my fork after that reflection……..
Because my friend offered me a pizza.
